Eligibility:
M.Sc Nursing (2 years): Candidate who has completed B.Sc (N)/B.Sc Hons/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks; has undergone a full time (regular stream not distance mode) programme in B.Sc (N)/B.Sc Hons/Post Basic B.Sc (N) in an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council; has minimum one year of work experience from the date of registration as Nurse and Midwife after B.Sc Nursing or after or prior to Post Basic B.Sc Nursing programme as on 15th April, 2013 in any institution/hospital or as a full time Public Health Nurse; possesses registration certificate from the State Nursing Council for Nursing and Midwifery/alternate course (applicable to male candidates)

The male candidates who do not possess midwifery registration certificate will not be able to apply for M.Sc (N) in Obstetrics and Gynaecological/Community Health Nursing irrespective of their experience in the area

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (2 years): Candidate who is a Diplomate in Nursing after 12 years of schooling; possesses registration certificate from the State Nursing Council for Nursing and Midwifery/ alternate course (applicable to male candidates)

Fellowships in Nursing (1 year): Candidate who has completed B.Sc Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Programme of the Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai or any other university accepted as equivalent there to; possesses registration certificate from the State Nursing Council for Nursing and Midwifery/ alternate course (applicable to male candidates); is a graduate nurse with a minimum of one year work experience as on 15th July, 2013 in any clinical area in the hospital or in the community; is applying for FFNP must be a registered Nurse and Midwife

Fellowship in Family Nurse Practice: This programme is designed to prepare graduate nurses for advanced nursing practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner
A Family Nurse Practitioner in collaboration with physician provides primary health care services across the life span in community and ambulatory care settings
The programme is of one year duration and requires full time attendance

Fellowship in Haematology Nursing: This programme is directed towards the preparation of graduate nurses for advanced practice of nursing in Haematology
The programme enables nurses to analyze the physiological, psychological, socio-cultural, developmental and spiritual factors that influence individual and family health outcomes
Haematology nurse practitioner provides health care to haematology patients across the lifespan, primarily in out patient care settings, BMT unit and in the Haematology wards and co-ordinates specialized care with the assistance of haematologists
The programme is of one year duration and requires full time attendance

Fellowship in Respiratory Nursing: This programme is directed towards the preparation of graduate nurses for advanced practice in Respiratory Nursing
The programme enables nurses to analyze the physiological, psychological socio-cultural, developmental and spiritual factors that influence the individual and family health out comes
It also enables the students to apply nursing strategies that incorporate the educational, ethical and socio-cultural dimensions of health-illness paradigm to the delivery of health care to patients with respiratory problems
Respiratory Nurse provides health care to patients with a variety of respiratory diseases in outpatient as well as the inpatient setting as an assistant to the pulmonary physicians in doing specialized procedures such as Bronchoscopy, Thorcoscopy etc
The programme is of one year duration and requires full time attendance

Post Basic Diploma Programmes in Nursing (1 year): Candidate who has completed Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery/B.Sc Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing graduate; possesses registration certificate from the State Nursing Council for Nursing and Midwifery/alternate course (applicable to male candidates); is a staff nurse with one year work experience as on 15th July, 2013 in any clinical area in the hospital or in the community

Selection Process: Candidates who have applied for M.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, Fellowships in Nursing and Post Basic Diploma programmes in Nursing will appear for a written examination

The short listed candidates called for the medical checkup and interview after the preliminary selection will be published in the website and intimated individually by post by the 02nd week of December
Hall Ticket: The hall ticket will be sent by post to all the candidates

In non receipt of the hall ticket one week prior to the written test, candidates may print it out from the website http://home.cmcvellore.ac.in/admissions/admin.htm
Entrance Exam: All eligible candidates are required to undertake a written examination (multiple choice questions) on 24th November, 2012
The examination will be conducted in the following cities; Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pudhucherry, Trivandrum and Vellore

Eligibility:
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognised university, in any discipline. OR

(b) Candidates who will complete all the requirements of their final year Bachelor’s Degree examinations are also eligible to apply to all the programmes, except the four programmes offered by the School of Health Systems Studies; provided they have successfully completed their first and second years, if the degree course is of 3 years; and the first, second and third years, if the degree course is of 4 years. Candidates applying for the M.A. Education (Elementary) programme should complete all the requirement. In such cases, admission to any of the Master’s Degree Programmes of the Institute will be provisional. If a provisionally admitted student fails in the final year examination, the offer of provisional admission automatically stands cancelled.

(c) Candidates applying for the Master of Public Health in Health Policy, Economics and Finance; and Master of Public Health in Social Epidemiology Programmes should have (i) A Master’s Degree in any discipline, or (ii) A Bachelor’s Degree in medicine/para-medical courses.

(d) Candidates who are in their final year Bachelor’s Degree Programme are not eligible to apply for admission to any of the Master’s Degree programmes, conducted by School of Health Systems Studies, i.e., Health Administration; Hospital Administration; Public Health in Social Epidemiology; and Public Health in Health Policy, Economics and Finance.

(e) Candidates applying for the Master in Habitat Policy and Practice should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Management, Physical Sciences, Geography, Planning, Law, or Social Sciences, with some inclination towards habitat related issues/sectors.

(f) Medical graduates should complete their internship. Otherwise, their candidature/admission stands cancelled.

The minimum marks for clearing the DURAT to be eligible for Ph.D programme shall be 30% in each paper and 45% in aggregate

Validity of the DURAT score shall be for a period of three years
Examination Fee: Rs 400/-for the applicants of all categories
Examination Centre: There shall be one examination centre in the Dibrugarh University campus

Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)

Eligibility:

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications to apply for IIM Raipur’s doctoral programme:

Master’s degree in any discipline, with at lease 55 per cent marks or equivalent grade point average.
Or

Professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 55 percent marks or equivalent grade point average.
Or

Five year/four year Integrated Masters degree programme in any discipline, with at least 55 percent marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
Or

4 years/8 semester bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech.) with at least 60 per cent marks or equivalent grade point average

Those in their final year of Masters or Bachelors degree (B.E /B. Tech) in any discipline can also apply. Such candidates have to complete the requirements for the course before the specified date and produce the original certificates/mark sheets within stipulated time.
CAT/GATE/JRF/GMA/GRE Score

Candidates who have appeared/are appearing for the CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/JRF (two years from the date of the standard test and should be valid on the deadline of submission of the application form) will be shortlisted on the basis of the details in the application form and the scores of tests as detailed below. Only the shortlisted candidates will then be called for interviews at IIM Raipur Campus.

a. Business Policy & Strategy: CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF (in relevant discipline)
b. Economics & Business Environment: CAT/UGC-JRF (in relevant discipline)
c. Finance and Accounting: CAT/GMAT/GRE/UGC-JRF (in relevant discipline)
d. Marketing: CAT/GMAT/GRE

e. Operations Management: CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE

Candidates residing outside India could choose to take any of the above tests (depending on the area to which they are applying) or appear for GMAT. The doctoral programme accepts test scores that have been taken in the last two years.
Note: Once a candidate takes admission in a given area, s/he will have to pursue the doctoral work in that area.

Eligibility:
1. Candidates who have appeared at Common Admission Test (CAT) 2012 conducted by IIMs are eligible to apply.

2. A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) or equivalent CGPA, of any University incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956.

3. The Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.

4. In case of the candidates being awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the university/ institution from where they have obtained bachelor’s degree.

5. In case the university/ institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by the SPM by dividing earned CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the quotient with 100.

6. A candidate appearing for the final year examination of bachelor’s degree or equivalent can also apply.

a. Such candidate must produce a certificate from the authority of the of the university/ institution certifying that (i) the candidate has obtained 50% marks or equivalent based on latest available grades/marks (i.e. all the years’ grade/marks except the final year grade/marks), and (ii) the candidate has completed all the requirements and have appeared for the examinations / practical etc. for the final year/final term and that the results is awaited for obtaining the bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification.

b. Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally only if they submit such certificate latest on the registration day.

c. However, the admission will be confirmed provided that final mark sheet and degree certificate are submitted and if the candidate has met the prescribed eligibility criteria.
d. Non-fulfilment of the above conditions/dates will automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.
