IPU CET 2012 Entrance Exam Dates
The admission brochure along with Application form will be on sale from 20th January 2012 on all working days during normal banking hours from the following branches of Indian Bank.
Admission to IPU Courses are through COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CET-2012)

B.Tech/M.Tech (Dual Degree)
B.Tech Information Technology
Lateral Entry to B.Tech Programmes for Diploma holders
Lateral Entry to B.Tech Programmes for BSc graduates
B.Tech/M.Tech Dual Degree – Bio-Technlogy
Age Limit: (AS on 1st August 2012)
i) For all undergraduate programmes where entry qualification is 12th pass : 21 years
ii) For all post graduate programmes where entry qualification is graduation : 35 years

Online submission of application form is available at http://ipu.ac.in , 25th January 2012 onwards.
Last date form submission of online application form is 16th April 2012 and same for offline application.
Admit Cards will however be sent only by registered post.

B.Arch : 4th June 2012 to 2nd July 2012 5 pm
One application form is valid only for one CET Code. For applying in more than One CET code, applicant should purchase seperate admission brochure and apply separately.
Application forms received by the office of the controller of examinations upto the last date will be displayed on its website www.ipu.ac.in on 24th April 2012 at 5 p.m.
CET Admit Card:
The admit card alloting the roll number and examination centre for the common entrance tests will be despatched by the university to the candidates by registered /speed post.
Candidates will not be allowed to enter exam hall without the CET Admit card.

No cet will be conducted for B.Arch programmes
Scheme of Test :
The test paper will consists of 150 objective type questions and each question wil provide four alternative answers marked as (1), (2), (3), (4). Out of these only one correct or most appropriate answer should be selected and marked on the OMR asnwer sheet.
Each question carry four marks and there is negative marking for incorect answers, one mark will be deducted for each incoreect answer.
IPT CET written test will be of two hours duration and will carry 600 marks. Medium of test is English.
There will be no Group discussion or Interview.
Venue of Counselling : will be notified in the counselling schedule on the uiversity’s website www.ipu.ac.in
Last date for all kind of admissions will be 31st October 2012
Admission to B.Arch Programme
No CET will be held for admission to B.Arch programme. Admission will be made on the basis of NATA score and the percentage of Aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
Application form for B.Arch course: Submit application form between 4th June 2012 to 2nd July 2012 along with proof of NATA score and result of the qualifying examination.
Merit List: Based on NATA Score : 50% and Qualifying Exam : 50%
